Super Eagles defeat Lesotho 4-2 in AFCON qualifier

 

Nigeria’s Super Eagles came from a goal down on Sunday to demolish Lesotho 4-2 in the African Cup of Nation’s qualifier played in Maseru, Lesotho.

Lesotho and Nigeria faced off for the third time on the international scene as they continue their qualification campaign for the 2021 African Cup of Nations.

Super eagles head into Sunday’s encounter as group L leaders following their 2-1 win Over Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio stadium on Wednesday.

Osimhen finished with a brace and assist while, Iwobi and Chukwueze both grabbed a goal each.
